Статья посвящена междисциплинарным методам исследования иллюстративных коллекций в собраниях архивов и музеев. На примере полевых этнографических фотографий известного якутского этнографа А.А. Саввина, которые интерпретируются в качестве визуального текста, автор ставит проблему комплексного изучения творчества экспедиционных фотографов; предлагает концепт Һавторской интенцииһ, отражающей смысл, задумку и художественную картину мира фотографа; последовательное хронологическое изучение этапов развития его творчества. Раскрывает перспективу введения в научный оборот полевой этнографической фотографии как источника по исследованию обрядности народа саха.
The article is devoted to the interdisciplinary research methods of illustrative collections in archives and museums. On the example the field ethnographic photos of famous Yakut ethnographer A.A. Savvin, which is interpreted as a visual text, the author poses the problem of a complex study creativity expeditionary photographers, proposes the concept of “author's intention” reflect the meaning, ideas and artistic picture of the photographer's world, sequential chronological study the stages development of his creativity. It reveals the prospect of introducing into the scientific circulation of field ethnographic photographs as a source for study the rituals of the Sakha people.
