Статья посвящена определению и описанию основных этапов деятельности выдающегося ис-следователя музыкальной культуры народов Северной Азии, профессора, доктора искусствоведения Ю.И. Шейкина в контексте его основных публикаций в области тунгусо-маньчжуроведения. В течение полувековой науч-ной деятельности им была собрана представительная коллекция аудиозаписей и музыкальных инструментов по результатам более чем 100 музыкально-этнографических экспедиций в разные регионы Сибири и Дальнего Востока. Первый период деятельности Ю.И. Шейкина (1966‒1983) связан с учебой и работой в Дальневосточном педагогическом институте искусств, второй (1983‒1993) охватывает время работы в Новосибирской госу-дарственной консерватории им. М.И. Глинки, третий (1993‒2023) связан со становлением и развитием Арктического государственного института культуры и искусств в Якутске.
The article is devoted to the main stages of the activity of the outstanding researcher of the musical culture of the peoples of the North Asia, professor, doctor of Art History Yuri Ilyich Sheikin in the context of his main publications in the field of Tungus-Manchu studies. During the half-century of scientific activity of Yu.I. Sheikin, who organized fi eld work in different regions of Siberia and the Far East, he collected a representative collection of audio recordings and musical instruments. The fi rst period of Yuri Sheikin’sactivity (1966–1983) is associated with his studies and work at the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts (Vladivostok), the second (1983–1993) covers the period of work at the Novosibirsk State Conservatory by named M.I. Glinka, the third (1993–2023) is associated with the formation and development of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts in Yakutsk.

В статье на основе привлечения архивных данных и полевых материалов реконструированы основные этапы этнической истории, особенности расселения, хозяйства и культуры субэтнической группы брагатских эвенков, проживающих в настоящее время на территории Мирнинского района Республики Саха (Якутия). Особое внимание уделено современным социокультурным процессам, происходящим в среде изучаемой группы под влиянием интенсивного индустриального освоения региона; проблемам сохранения и возрождения их традиционной культуры. Рассмотрены исторические, политические и экономические аспекты определения их правового статуса, вопросы этнической консолидации и мобилизации.
The article is the first to reconstruct the ethnic history of the Evenks of the Bragat clan, currently living in the Mirninsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The aim of the article is to identify the ethno-cultural characteristics and their preservation in modern conditions of this subethnic group of the northern Evenks. The tasks of the article are to consider the concepts of their origin; to identify the area of their settlement and demographic processes during the 17th – 21st centuries; to study the features of traditional farming methods and ethnic culture, their transformation in the 20th century under the in fluence of intensive industrial development; to analyze modern problems of preservation and development of this group of the Evenk people. Based on the archival data of the 18th – 20th centuries and field materials, the author reconstructed the main stages of the ethnic history, administrative reorganizations, changes in the legal status, transformations of the economic and socio-cultural systems of the Bragat Evenks; modern processes that in fluenced the emergence of new social and socio-political factors that have an intensive impact on the Bragat Evenks are analyzed. It is concluded that, on the one hand, the industrial development of the region serves as a certain motivation for the aborigines to improve the quality of education, self-realization and self-affirmation of the individual, and improve their lifestyle. Статья посвящена реконструкции интеллектуальной биографии выдающегося ученого-северо-веда В.Н. Васильева (1877‒1931), уроженца Амгинского селения Якутской области, оставившего после себя богатое научное наследие, рассредоточенное в различных архивах и музеях страны. Научная новизна работы заключается в историческом осмыслении и интерпретации его богатого экспедиционного наследия в аспекте междисциплинарной методологии новой биографической истории. Впервые в рамках проекта увидела свет фундаментальная авторская монография В.Н. Васильева "Тунгусы Алдано-Майского и Аяно-Охотского районов" (2024), написанная им во время работы Тунгусского этнографического подотряда Комиссии по изучению производительных сил Якутской АССР (далее ‒ КЯР) (1926‒1928 гг.).
This article is devoted to the reconstruction of the intellectual biography of the outstanding northern scientist V.N. Vasiliev (1877–1931), a native of the Amga village of the Yakut region, who left behind a rich scientific heritage dispersed in various archives and museums of our country. The scientific novelty of the research of the work lies in the historical understanding and interpretation of his rich expeditionary heritage within the framework of an innovative interdisciplinary methodology of a new biographical history, and is due to the introduction into scientific circulation of previously unexplored scientific heritage and new archival data on V.N. Vasiliev (correspondence of the Commission for the Study of the Productive Forces of Yakutia with the Government of Yakutia, ego-documents: travel diaries, expedition notes as a personal the narrative of the included observation). The author develops an autobiographical chronotope of the life path of Viktor Nikolaevich Vasiliev, identifies the main periods refl ected in the author’s landscape (the motive of bondage, the motive of sacrifice, etc.). Based on the methodology of the “new biographical history” (social personal history), we trace the model of the formation of V.N. Vasiliev’s individual scientific strategy during the construction of early Soviet society. For the first time within the framework of the project, the fundamental author’s monograph by V.N. Vasiliev “Tungus of the Aldan-Maiya and Ayan-Okhotsky districts” with a volume of about 1,500 pp. (2024), written by him within the Tungus ethnographic suborder of the Commission for the Study of the Productive Forces of Yakutia (1926–1928), was published.
