On the base of comparative and historical study, taking into consideration close relationship between language and society and a multidisciplinary approach, I find the following features in the history of the Yakut language: 1.Common Turkic ethnos and language was diverged in the steppe region for 7-8 centuries before the creation of the first ancient Turkic runic monuments and since that time, the separate development of the Yakuts and their language. 2. Basic processes on the formation of the Yakutethnic core and grammatical structure of the Yakut language were occurred before the rise of the Mongols in the Middle Ages. 3. Mongolian and North Tungus substrate did not take part in the origin an devolution of the Yakuts and their language. Ethno-linguistic contacts of Yakuts with Mongolian people were after the XIII century and with the North-Tungus – XIV century. 4. From the position of a multidisciplinary research, it is clear that the Yakuts migrated to Central Yakutia in XIV century from the south by compact mass. Ethno-linguistic contacts of Yakuts with Russians started from the XVII century.
