В статье рассматривается визуальный аспект авторской методологии известного ученого-сибиреведа Г. В. Ксенофонтова, разрабатывавшего в своих исследованиях теорию эволюции степной кочевой культуры в Сибири на основе гипотезы о ключевой роли народного орнамента в изучении исторических процессов, влияющих на развитие этноса. Ученый внес личный вклад в разработку ряда теоретических проблем в области религиоведения, этнографии народов Сибири, фольклористики, музейного дела и визуальных исследований. Впервые выявлен круг художников ЯАССР, сотрудничавших с Г. В. Ксенофонтовым. Определены векторы смены концепций авторских визуальных программ исследования Г. В. Ксенофонтова.
The article examines the visual aspect of the author’s methodology of the famous scientist-Siberian G. V. Ksenofontov, who developed in his research the theory of the evolution of steppe nomadic culture in Siberia based on the hypothesis of the key role of folk ornament in the study of historical processes affecting the development of an ethnic group. The scientist left his personal contribution to the development of a number of theoretical problems in the f ield of religious studies, ethnography of the peoples of Siberia, folklore studies, museum work and visual research. For the first time, a circle of local artists of the YASSR who collaborated with G. V. Ksenofontov was identified. The vectors of change in the concepts of the author’s visual research programs of G. V. Ksenofontov have been determined.
