Currently, with the development of information technology and the transition of schoolchildren to distance learning due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, as well as air pollution in connection with forest fires in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the problem of preserving the health of the population, especially children and adolescents, is becoming acute for early detection of unfavorable tendencies and their recovery through education and upbringing. The article analyzes the current state of physical culture lessons at school, and also provides a comparative analysis of physical development, physical activity, the peculiarities of the daily routine and nutrition of 10—13 year old schoolchildren in rural and urban areas. The choice of this age category is due to the beginning of the transition period and a special susceptibility to external factors; during this period children are actively gaining muscle strength, which reaches its peak at the age of 15. A comparative analysis of the nutrition of schoolchildren with the traditional diet of the Sakha people is carried out, ananalysis of physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic (from 2019 to the present) and annual forest fires (2020—2021) shows a low level of physical activity of children, which is below the level recommended by the WHO (at least 1 hour a day). Thus, the relevance of this study lies in considering the problems of increasing the physical activity of 10—13 year old children and familiarizing them with physical culture and sports to preserve the health of the younger generation in the modern conditions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The article raises the problem of improving modern physical culture lessons at school, which requires a different approach, mastering new technologies and methods to in crease interest in physical culture and sports. Physical culture at school should follow the modern conditions of society, and the main goal should be to improve the health of young people, to teach them a responsible attitude to their health.

The day patient department is a medical-diagnostic department of the polyclinic, which has become common nowadays and has a number of economic and psychological advantages in comparison with the traditional hospital. There are 17 day patient departments in Yakutsk City. In order to study the indicators of the day patient department in Polyclinic1 of Yakutsk City, a retrospective analysis of case histories of 76 patients, 36 men and 40 women, an average age of 52 years, was conducted. The analysis revealed most common diseases in men and women coming to the day patient department. Women had musculoskeletal system diseases (52 %), while men had circulatory system diseases (35 %) and digestive organs (47 %). The average length of stay of the patient on a daily bed in the clinic was 10-12 days. The patients had a comorbid condition, the presence of 2 to 4 diseases, which always adversely affected the patient’s condition. Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in the day patient department allows reducing the number of hospitalizations in the in-patientdepartment and provides an opportunity to receive full-fledged treatment of diseases without interruption of work
